Like galleries, bookshops are essential in our city, places of knowledge and pleasure. At the same time, their editorial work is fundamental for the dissemination and understanding of art, its ideas, its artists and its history.

From Arte Madrid we want to celebrate the role of the bookshops that share a neighbourhood with our galleries, to share with them and with the national and international public that will come to Madrid during Apertura, a place of meeting and dissemination of culture in general and of contemporary art in particular.

These bookshops will have a special selection of books on art during Apertura  and for the rest of the month of September:
